As Head of HR you will take the lead on the complete employee lifecycle, from establishing an external talent pool to recruitment, onboarding, associate development, performance management, employee relations, and exit. You will work with the senior leadership team to ensure a seamless HR offering and provision of a comprehensive HR Management System with the support of your HR team. You will be a capable HR generalist working both strategically and operationally within a team of 12, across HR, Learning and Development, Payroll, Recruitment and Health, Safety and Environment to give support to the 600+ employees in the UK. You will be overseeing the supporting, coaching and guiding of senior stakeholders and advising on best HR practice whilst working in a collaborative, friendly and engaging environment.
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced senior level HR professional, having a proven track record in a Head of HR role with a strategic mindset and line management experience. You will be a true HR Generalist able to demonstrate your excellent HR knowledge, understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
Being a fast-paced role, you will have experience working flexibly within a diverse and established organisation and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders quickly following a business partnering approach. Ideally you will have worked in manufacturing as well as being degree (or equivalent) and CIPD qualified. Experience of implementing a HR Information System would be an advantage.
Working under a flexitime system, this is a multi-sited role and you will be required to attend any of our sites in Oxfordshire, so a driving licence is essential.
