We are looking for proactive Assembly Technicians to join an established Rail Company in Beeston Working within the busy production department, you will be responsible for assembly of track work crossings with a focus on quality and safety. Ideally you will have experience of working as a Skilled Production Operative within a medium to heavy production environment with an ability to work effectively towards meeting deadlines and targets.   Responsibilities of a Assembler: Taking direction from the Team Leader to produce work to a high quality finish. Reading and working from engineering drawings. Using correct measuring tools including tape, gauges, scale and templates to complete work. Lay steel onto base rails. Fixing equipment to concrete or timber layouts. Using hand grinding tools for finishing duties on rails. Support the team with despatch responsibilities when required. Operation of overhead cranes.   Adherence to and promotion of company’s health, safety, environmental and quality policies, and procedures Experience required of a Production Operative: Able to read and work to engineering drawings Certified qualification in slinging , ideally. Previous experience of working within a similar environment is desirable. Package Details: Working a 2 shift pattern Monday to Friday. 6am- 13.40, 11.55 – 19.35, Salary: £24,200, increasing to £27,200 after 3 months (includes basic & shift pay) Pension scheme (7% contribution) 33 days holiday including bank holidays Funded life assurance.
