Are you an experienced Creative Media Professional with experience in the engineering, science or energy sector? Do you have an interest in robotics and associated technologies? There has never been a more exciting time to join RACE. We are growing rapidly as an organisation. This role could see you join the Knowledge Transfer Team at RACE, a critical part of RACE's external communications. You will provide a wide range of creative media services to the RACE department at UKAEA, including * photography and photo editing * video filming and editing * production of marketing collateral In your role you'll Instigate and deliver projects which allow RACE to transfer knowledge to internal and external audiences: * Providing photography services for RACE. Ensuring photographs are in accordance with GDPR and wider UKAEA policies and advising staff on best practice. * Providing video filming services for RACE, including responsibility for planning, editing and post-production (in conjunction with Communications department and Culham Studio). * Devising, planning and managing photo and video projects to promote and communicate the work of RACE. * Working closely with the communications group to provide support for intranet and website stories, social media, press releases and marketing collateral. You'll need: * An ability to think creatively and propose innovative ways of communicating both internally and externally. * Proficiency in industry-standard photo and video editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Premiere. * Extensive photography and video filming services experience. * Experience of working collaboratively in a small team. * Good organisational, administrative and IT skills and attention to detail. * An understanding of the General Data Protection Regulations and how these impact media services. Desirable A qualification or interest in science or engineering would be a benefit in this role as you will be working producing content for and closely with technical teams across RACE.
