Industrial Refrigeration Engineer
We have a need for a new Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to join a Refrigeration Specialist in the UK. The new Refrigeration needs to be based and prepared to cover the Yorkshire areas.
Candidates must be time served & qualified engineers with at least three years' post apprenticeship experience as a Service Engineer. They should also possess a high degree of electrical/mechanical competency.
Engineering Requirements -
Carry out maintenance, service, diagnosis of large scale refrigeration equipment and appropriate repairs to both mechanical & electrical elements.
Fault finding on refrigeration controls
Knowledge of refrigerants used in this sector, such as ammonia, glycol & freon based systems.
Previous equipment knowledge -
Large cold storage areas, cooling tunnels, DX units, blast freezers, spiral freezers, water chillers, large pack equipment, etc
NVQ Level 2 +/or 3 OR a Time Served Refrigeration Apprenticeship
F-Gas Safe Handling (C&G 2079 or CITB J11)
Ammonia Safe Handling Certificate
Product Training - ie Sabroe, Grasso, Gram, J&E Hall, Mycom, Stal etc
The new Refrigeration Engineer should ideally be based in the Yorkshire area would be suitable. For the right candidates there is the chance they could be flexible at areas slightly outside of this locations as well.
On top of a competitive salary, there is the potential for some overtime, call outs, with specialist product training
