Nationwide Services are currently looking for a competent, enthusiastic and outgoing receptionist with exceptional interpersonal skills to provide front-of-house services for a large industrial manufacturing company based in the Doncaster area.
The candidate will be expected to work office hours Monday to Friday working at the customer-facing reception desk of the factory. Duties would include greeting visitors with a warm welcome, answering telephone enquiries and general office administration.
Effective communication forms a large part of the role and the ideal receptionist must have excellent verbal and written English and must exhibit a confident and professional manner both face-to-face and over the telephone. Experience within a similar reception role or a background in customer service or telephony would be desirable.
The receptionist would be responsible for operating the company’s busy switchboard on a daily basis, handling both national and international business calls. A polite telephone manner and accurate message taking are essential qualities required for the role.
The candidate must be extremely well organised as they will be responsible for taking and passing on messages, managing meeting room bookings via the Outlook Calendar, managing the company driver form list, distributing weekly first aider lists around the site and other general office administration.
The receptionist candidate would be expected to have good knowledge and experience of using the Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel software packages and would be expected to communicate via email in a professional manner. Experience with using computers, tablets and telephone systems is essential.
