Head Concierge - Croydon - Residential - Perm - 28/30k
The Head Concierge will be responsible for overseeing day to day management of the Concierge Team based in Croydon. An exceptionally high level of customer service and ability to manage a variety of tasks is required to ensure that services are delivered with flawless precision.
A keen eye for detail is required to appreciate the attention to build, design and living, where the Head Concierge will be required to manage and motivate the Concierge Team to maintain the expected service levels in accordance with the requirements of the client, the expectations of residents and to the standards set by the company.

Maintain the day shift rota and plan alternative cover during periods of planned absence also to arrange cover during sickness.
Report any lateness to the DM for action.
Identify any training needs within the team.
Ensure standard of dress are maintained.
Ensure the reception area is kept clean and tidy always
Support gaps and busy periods during the working day.
Carry out all line management duties in line with PEL expectations.
Procedures & SOP's
Ensure any SOP and procedure is implemented and understood by all staff.
Ensure any updates to process or procedures is identified and discussed with DM for amendment if required.
Maintain the FOB register for access control for doors and vehicle entryDaily Checks
Ensure the Concierge team conduct the checks required during the day as per the SOP's and are scanned into the relevant folder on the P Drive.
Support in the daily checks function during busy periods.
Major concerns are to be reported to the DM.
Ensure all checks conducted are scanned are stored within the correct folder in the P Drive.
Ensure the system is checked, notices added and responses issued regularly throughout the working day/night by Concierge team.Complaints Process
Understand the process for complaints and escalate to the DM any complaint that cannot be address by a simple response.
Support the desk if a resident complains to the Concierge and escalate to DM if required.
Carry out patrols of development
Conduct one patrol during the working day and record findings on the relevant form.
Health & Safety
Ensure the working environment is hazard free and work to reduce hazards for all staff.
Highlight any Health & Safety issues to the DM.
Ensure staff member comply with the H&S at Work Act while at their place of work.
Report any breaches of safe working practices.Contractor Management
Ensure all contractors are booked in correctly before work starts and work permits are issued.
Ensure DM is made aware of what contractors are on site during the day.
Ensure they sign off site and someone checks area prior them leaving the site
