Becoming a Pharmacy Assistant at Weldricks
You will enter training (GPHC Recognised) towards your Medicine Counter Assistant and Dispensing Assistant qualification with consistent support from your branch learning all that there is to be a Pharmacy Assistant. We also offer Accuracy Checking Assistant/Technician courses for those wanting to progress further on in their career in the Pharmaceutical industry…if you do more, we will do more with you! With this qualification you will be able to provide a high standard of healthcare advice and customer service to our valuable customers in the communities we operate in.
Who are we looking for?
Friendly, professional and caring individuals demonstrating empathy and an ability to communicate with an array of individuals seeking healthcare advice within the community. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be assisting the Branch Pharmacist and/or Supervisor in ensuring the smooth running of the dispensary, prescription and non-prescription products in a regulated environment, and managing stock levels. Previously gained qualifications and experience are always desirable, however your personality is what’s important to us – we can provide you with the training you need.
