You will be able to hit the ground running in an academic KS2 environment, whilst also being able to inspire and ignite positive learning. Location: Redbridge, East London Role: KS2 Teaching Assistant (Full-time position) Duration: 1-year minimum contract – opportunity to go permanent with the school after a year Pay Scale: Between £60-£70 per day (paid weekly) Required Specification: Minimum 2:1 graduate with some experience within a TA capacity or with supporting young people informally (summer camp etc.) Desirable: 6 months or more within a Primary school as a KS2 Teaching Assistant. We are currently seeking a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join an ‘Outstanding’ school in Redbridge on a full-time basis. The school are looking for a minimum 2:1 graduate with a pre-existing understanding of the primary curriculum, with good literacy and numeracy skills. Along with this, we are looking for a bubbly and passionate individual who has some prior experience working with young people! The KS2 Teaching Assistant will assist in the overall support of the class teacher. You will take pupils in groups and 1:1 sessions for reading and spelling and to also use indoor and outdoor learning space to raise motor, social and language skills.
