Here at EduStaff, we are currently supporting a secondary school in Southend who are looking to take on a graduate Science Teaching Assistant as of September.

*** Long term, full-time Science Teaching Assistant post
*** Science Teaching Assistant - £60-£65 per day
*** 1:1, small group and whole-class teaching responsibilities
*** You must hold at least a 2.2 in your Science related degree
*** Science Teaching Assistant – September 2018 start
As a Science Teaching Assistant, you will be moving into the established Science Faculty where you will be supporting and assisting with lessons. You will be responsible for raising attainment through 1:1 and small group booster classes. There will also be the opportunity for the chosen Science Teaching Assistant to lead whole class teaching under the supervision of the class teacher, and you will be using your extensive subject knowledge to assist with the planning and preparation of lessons. For those who demonstrate a natural flair for teaching, the school are willing to support them through on-the-job teacher training to gain their PGCE.
This Science Teaching Assistant role would suit a passionate and intelligent graduate who has an inspirational aura. The school wants to see a Science Teaching Assistant who has the skill to provide their students with comprehensive understanding of the material through their own appreciation and love for the subject matter.
