Client Relationship Manager - Payment/Banking - Permanent - London

My client a Consultancy specialising in the Payments and Banking sector are looking for a Client Relationship Manager to join their expanding business.

The Client Relationship Manager will be responsible for building and enhancing relationships with their key clients, and being the escalation point for all team members working on client sites.

Duties:

Ensuring all team members have a clear focus and understand live project targets.

Running regular reviews with team members, managing project progress/issues.

Manage appraisals/disciplinary procedures for permanent staff.

Management headcount/resource gaps.

Ensure the teams complete their timesheets on time and entries are accurate.

Ensure you are always aware of the financial position of engagements (day rates per resource, burn rate, allocated budget, budget remaining and budget end date, and that project contract extensions (SoW's) are in progress in good time.

Reviewing invoices prior to release to client/s, ensuring man hours figures are accurate.

Ensure that overtime and expenses have been pre-approved in writing by the client.

Promote/incentive resources on the ground to highlight further sales/service opportunities, and flag to Sales function to explore.

Update CRM and other internal systems so progress of sales opportunities can be tracked.

Provide client status reports, and update Delivery Director of any issues which arise within projects.

Background

A background of working for a Consultancy is essential for the role. Experience of the Payments/Banking sector is highly desirable.

Strong line management experience, including resource management, recruitment etc.

Extensive client relationship/account management experience, with excellent client facing skills.
