Finance Manager - VIP / Private Jet Flight Services Provider Bournemouth, BH23 Competitive Salary Package + 25 days holiday, management bonus scheme, DC pension, cycle to work, share save scheme We are currently looking to recruit a talented Part or Fully qualified or QBE Finance Manager to lead our unit Finance team in ensuring the company and regulatory financial guidelines are met and all financial and accounting activities are carried out to best practice. Who we are: We are the private jet maintenance division of the world’s largest network of aviation services Fixed Base Operators (FBOs), with over 200 locations providing a consistent, exceptional service to Business / Private Jet VIP customers. We are also part of a leading global aviation FTSE 250 Group. Our division of the business very much operates as a standalone entity as such the Finance Manager will have the autonomy to work with the Managing Director to decide how the Finance function is run. What the role involves: + Manage the finance team (team of three) in all aspects of financial and personal performance + Ensure all journal postings are accurately completed to general ledger and manually cost each sales invoice raised + Minimize the number of debtors by tracking and managing all outstanding debts + Ensure suppliers are paid in a timely manner maintaining the Company’s control on cash flow to ensure budgets are met. + Ensure all accounts and month end are reconciled for management accounting. + Prepare weekly cash flow report for the management team ensuring cash flow budgets are maintained + Work with the Group's Shared Service Centre to ensure on time, accurate and successfully reported payroll service each month. + Accountable for all VAT and HMRC requirements on behalf of the Company + Responsible for month end reporting, including group reporting requirements + Manage the year end process, updating the management team and employees as requested About You: + ACA,CIMA, ACCA Part or Fully qualified or qualified by experience + Experience in working within a financial role + A strong leader willing to develop and engage their team and drive their team for success + Commercially astute and ability to provide financial information in a business orientated manner + Proven ability to build strong working relationships which can be leveraged as required to support business goals + Excellent analytical and accuracy skills with the ability to interpret data to give the overall picture. + Must demonstrate ability and prior experience on management accounting, credit control month/year end, budgeting, cash flow, payroll, P11D reporting, financial analysis, group reporting + Knowledge of VAT and EC rules and regulations + Previous experience using Exact accounting package would be advantageous If you feel this position is perfect for you then why not apply…we want to hear from you!
